After graduating from high school, Tiffany enrolled in a private-for profit school and completed a Medical Assistant program. Tiffany completed numerous employment applications for medical assistant but was unsuccessful in securing employment in the medical field. Tiffany became a single parent and realized that she was not educationally prepared to secure employment that would lead to self-sufficiency. She decided to enroll in Mid-South Community College and become a student in Career Pathways. With assistance from Career Pathways, Tiffany completed Certified Nursing Assistant and received her licenses in July. This fall she decided to complete the remaining prerequisites for the registered nurse program at MSCC and work full-time. |
| Letter to ASUB "I could not get away without sending you a letter to say thank you so much to you and to your staff for everything you have done to help me succeed in school this past year.
I always had a dream to be a nurse from the time I was a little girl but when I was young did not make the right decision to go to school and later in life it never seemed to work out. I found myself unemployed after 15 years of working at the same career my heart wanted to move into this field so badly but the funding and the connections were just not there. I truly believe the Lord sent you and your team to me and I will always be grateful to you as your program changed my life! Your staff is always so helpful and friendly I could never ask for more.
The career days you held were awesome and so informative along with the orientation days that I attended. Loved the fashion show it was great and made it fun too. I will never ever be able to repay all the emotional support you provided throughout my program as well. So with all that said very small to say but big from my heart THANKS SO MUCH! Because of your efforts and work to help me I now sign my name with LPN behind it!!! May God bless you and your staff and your continued efforts to help folks become employable."

| Letter to ATUO " GOD willing, I will graduate on December 17....but, before I do, I want to thank you personally for all the love and support. I know that I would not be getting this degree without you and the help of Career Pathways. Thank you for making all my hopes and dreams a reality. I cannot even put into words my appreciation. Being a single mother of four is hard, but you never doubted I could do it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for believing in me, when I felt no one else did. You and this program will always be special to me, and I won't ever forget you or what you have done. I promise I am your biggest fan and program supporter. This journey was set in place by you and the program, and the journey will end with four kids who give their thanks...and one mother, who owes you everything. Dreams really can come true......thank you!!! " Lasinda |
